Yelzhas graduated from the Semey Geological Exploration College in 2013 with a degree in Geophysical Methods of Prospecting and Exploration of Mineral Deposits.

In 2019, he graduated from the National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University (RF) with a degree in Geological Exploration Technology and qualified as a mining geophysicist.

Yelzhas has 10 years of professional work experience.

He worked in CJSC Production and Geological Association “Tyumenpromgeofizika”, JSC NGC (National Geological Exploration Company) “Kazgeologiya”, Geological Exploration College of Semey.

In September 2022 – joined Qazaq Geophysics (QG) LLP

During his career , he took the following advanced training courses:

– “Qualitative and quantitative interpretation of MT, AMT method data; Analysis and modeling using WingLink software”;

– “Organization of electrical exploration and interpretation of magnetotelluric and magnetovariational sounding data”, course “Processing and interpretation of data of modern electromagnetic technologies”;

– “Training modules of the Geosoft Oasis Montaj software package”;

– “Advanced training in processing, 3D modeling and interpretation of geological and geophysical data”

– “Advanced training in interpretation of spectrometric data”

– “Interpretive processing of geophysical observations in the software “COSCAD 3D”.

Yelzhas Maksutuly was awarded a Commendation from the Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2020). He has also received a Commendation from the Committee of Geology (2022).
