In 2013, Merey graduated from the Semey Geological Exploration College with a degree in Geophysical Methods of Prospecting and Exploration of Mineral deposits.

In 2017, Merey received a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits after graduating from D.Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University.

Merey started his career in 2014 at PGA (production and geological association) “Tyumenpromgeofizika” CJSE (RF), as technical geophysicist .

He worked for over 6 years for National Exploration Company “Kazgeologiya”JSC.

While working there he collected and processed gravimetric data.

In 2021, he joined Qazaq Geophysics (QG) LLP.

During his career, he upgraded his qualifications in processing geophysical data, including subjects such as processing, 3D modelling and interpretation of geological and geophysical data.

In 2017, Merey received a Commendation from the Vice Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Currently his professional activity is associated with the organization of aerogeophysical research, as well as the processing and interpretation of magnetic exploration data.
